M.L. Salvation Army recognizes partners for support

High school French immersion students hope to continue program

French immersion students in Meadow Lake have participated in the language program for the bulk of their schooling, but fear they may not be able to continue without an in-class instructor.

Carpenter boys’ basketball falls short in home tourney final

Even though the Carpenter High boys’ basketball team lost the championship match at their home tournament this weekend, they’re still having a great season so far, according to head coach Navanga Burke.

Carpenter High wrestler wins provincial banner

Carpenter High School may have many provincial sports banners hanging in their gym, but one for wrestling is a first.

In 2017, Jacob Ambroziak won in the 130 kilogram weight class, and on Thursday, Jan. 11 the school officially accepted the banner in his honour.
