A single car collision which caused Highway 2 south of Meadow Lake to temporarily shut down, has been ruled an accident and no charges will be laid.
An investigation showed the elderly, male occupant of the pick-up truck had fallen asleep and swerved off the road into a creek.
On June 30, RCMP officers responded to a collision involving a single vehicle. Police, fire and EMS attended with the lone male occupant being transported to Meadow Lake Hospital for his injuries.
