Jersey May be Your Special Pet

Jersey is a 9 week old female mixed breed puppy. Our best guess is that she is a Collie/Lab with a dash of Terrier as she is slightly wire haired. She will likely be large once fully grown.

She is a very sweet and friendly girl who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She doesn’t like to be left alone and will cry. She would prefer to be held and cuddled, or in the company of other animals to keep her occupied.

In a foster home, she has started to learn about the crate and while she’s unhappy and vocal when first put in, she does settle down in it. With a just couple of bathroom breaks throughout the night, she sleeps well in the crate several hours at a time.

With this crate training she is also learning to be house trained and so far doing well. She does like her toys and will happily chase toys tossed for her and is intrigued by squeaky toys.
