Ont. man accused of luring Sask. children through social media

A 35-year-old man from Hamilton, Ont. is facing charges related to online activities allegedly involving children in Saskatchewan.

The investigation started Nov. 2 after Warman RCMP received a complaint about a man allegedly engaging a number children in the community through social media. 

RCMP worked with the Prairie Spirit School Division, as well as police in Ontario, to identify a person of interest.

Robert Sowell, 35, has been charged with luring a child under the age of 14, making sexually explicit material available to a child, possession of child pornography as well as three counts of failure to comply with a recognizance.
