Battlefords Pride Events

Pride is finally coming to the Battlefords!

The Battlefords Pride is a weekend-long event hosted by the amazing students and community volunteers from the Battlefords and Area Gender and Sexuality Alliance. This will be the first time that Pride is celebrated in the Battlefords, so make sure you are a part of this long awaited and historic event!

We have a tentative schedule that we would like to share with you, and as more information becomes available about these activities, we will be making separate event pages for them:

Monday, July 24th, 2017

10:00 am- Flag Raising At City Hall

Friday, July 28th, 2017
11:00 am- Opening Ceremonies at Central Park
12:00 pm- Kick-Off Barbeque at Central Park

Saturday, July 29th, 2017
1:00 pm- Pride Parade
7:00 pm- Rainbow Dance (Location Tba)

Sunday, July 30th, 2017
am: Church Service (Location Tba, Probably The United Church)
pm: Panel On LGBTQA+ Identities (Location Tba)
pm: closing ceremonies (location tba)
pm: volunteer appreciation night

We are trying to make every event low cost or free. All events and activities are family friendly and all-ages. There will be no alcohol, smoking or drugs permitted at any event, including the dance.
