Eight-year-old girl found

Prince Albert police are searching for a missing eight-year-old girl.

Police received a call from the girl’s family reporting her missing early this afternoon, according to spokesperson Sgt. Travis Willie. The girl was playing at the playground at Vickers School, Willie said, and the family left her unattended for a short time. When the family members returned, she was missing.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and black and white polka-dotted skirt. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen the girl since 3 p.m. today is asked to contact the Prince Albert Police without delay.
