Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival – Bringing Live Music to the Community of Waskesiu!

The third annual Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival is scheduled for the weekend of August 25-27, 2017. This family-friendly event will engage families and youth through music in beautiful Prince Albert National Park. Set near the shores of Waskesiu Lake, the Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival is much more than an outdoor music concert. It brings together live music, nature activities, beachfront yoga, children’s programs, food vendors, and more to one of the most stunning locations in Saskatchewan!

Friday, August 25th:
2:00 pm: Park Program – Aquatic Animals
7:00 pm: Park Program – Spirits of the Park
Sunset Yoga
8:00 pm: Friends of the Park Cabaret (Admission at the door)

Saturday, August 26th:
9:30 am: Morning Yoga
10:45 am: Main Stage Welcome!
11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Family Activities – Face Painting, Bouncy Castle, Spray Tattoos, Nature Games, Maple Leaf Painting, Crafts
11:00 am – 11:30 am: Singing with Sylvia
2:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Beer Gardens

A multi-organizational partner committee is hosting the Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival. Partners include the Waskesiu Community Council, Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce, Waskesiu Recreation Association, Waskesiu Foundation Inc., and Parks Canada Agency. These groups have banded together to develop and implement this full weekend event as part of an overall strategy to increase visitation and revenue to Prince Albert National Park and local Waskesiu businesses. The Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival provides a great opportunity for friends and families to get together and enjoy the great outdoors, and gives visitors a chance to connect with nature.

With the exception of the Friends of the Park cabaret fundraiser and Waskesiu Recreation Association pancake breakfast, all activities are FREE.
