RCMP searching for male suspect after firearms complaint in Dillon

RCMP in the northern community of Dillon are currently searching for a male suspect after responding to a complaint of an injured male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound yesterday evening.
Police said the incident is isolated and poses minimal threat to the public. RCMP have not activated community lockdown procedures.
However, according to social media posts from members of the Buffalo River Dene Nation council, residents are asked to lock their doors and avoid going outside because of the incident.
Dillon is a northern community located roughly 450 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
