David Saint-Jacques says leak at the space station was like a wake-up call
MONTREAL — Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques says last week’s air leak at the International Space Station was like a wake-up call.
A top Russian space official says it was traced to a small hole in one of the Russian Soyuz capsules that was docked at the space station.
The leak was patched over with a sealant that officials said was airtight.
Saint-Jacques said Thursday the incident shows that all the training the astronauts go through is not a joke and it can actually come to be useful.
