MONTREAL — Another day, another missed practice for Johnny Manziel.
The former Heisman Trophy winner missed a third straight workout with the Montreal Alouettes on Wednesday. The team has said Manziel is out with the stomach flu.
Manziel practised Sunday when Montreal returned from the bye week.
Manziel’s absence leaves the Alouettes with just two healthy quarterbacks — starter Antonio Pipkin and youngster Matthew Shiltz — as they prepare to host the B.C. Lions on Friday night.
