RCMP say Evgeny Leontyvich Scherbakov was located safe and sound.

Police in Loon Lake are asking for the public’s help in locating a man after his vehicle was found abandoned.

Evgeny ‘Eugene’ Leontyvich Scherbakov, 46, is five-foot-six-inches tall, has dark hair, blue eyes, and a medium build.

Loon Lake RCMP said his 1994 Toyota Camry wagon was found on April 17 on Highway 304 about one mile east of Makwa. Investigators believe it had been there for about one week.

Officers do not believe Scherbakov has come into any harm but want to locate him to ensure he is okay.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
