New administrator for Meadow Lake and District Chamber of Commerce

May 1, 2019 | 5:00 PM

Coleton Ethier will be the new administrator for the Meadow Lake and District Chamber of Commerce.

Ethier, originally from Meadow Lake, will be meeting with business owners and managers to discuss their concerns.

“The world is always changing and anytime we change, we get new threats,” Ethier said. “So that’s going to be my main priority to the business owners. Seeing what those threats are and help them turn those threats into opportunities.”

“Coleton brings to us many strengths, including a background in business, networking and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done,” Gerald Pohl, president of the Chamber of Commerce, said.

Ethier completed his studies in Business Management and Mathematics at Minot State University in North Dakota.

“He has many new ideas which we are looking forward to implementing in order to promote Meadow Lake and area businesses,” Pohl said.

Either will also be reopening the tourism booth for the summer.
