Calm start to summer

No serious incidents over long weekend: Loon Lake RCMP

While the Victoria Day long weekend tends to be busy for officers in Loon Lake, RCMP reported no serious incidents.

Between May 17 and 21, RCMP responded to 117 calls for service.

Further, though three motorists were charged for impaired driving, officers checked over 1,000 vehicles during national road safety week and found a vast majority were not breaking any laws.
