Two doctors set to practice in Meadow Lake this fall says SHA
Meadow Lake could see two new doctors at its hospital this fall.
Doug Dahl, Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) spokesperson, said two family physicians are currently going through the Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment program and when completed they would start at Meadow Lake Hospital this fall.
Dahl could not release any other details on the doctors but said SHA is targeting locally, nationally and internationally in their recruitment and has been in contact with other physicians who have shown interest in working in Meadow Lake.
The SHA said they’ve ensured there will be no disruption of services at the hospital through the end of July and are making strategies to help the current services over the coming months.
