Both suspects wanted in La Loche shooting arrested

Both Ronald Park and Cody Robertson are now in custody.

One man was arrested and two more are wanted by police following a shooting in La Loche.

RCMP said they received a call that a vehicle parked outside a business in the community was shot at on July 29.

One adult male and one adult female were inside the vehicle when they were approached by three men who arrived on an ATV.

After a brief verbal exchange, one of the men pointed a firearm at the man in the car. The pair fled the scene and heard what they believed to be a gunshot as they drove away. No injuries were reported.

Troy Toulejour, 23, was arrested and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of pointing a firearm, careless use of and reckless discharge of a firearm, and operating a vehicle while prohibited. He was remanded and will make his first appearance in La Loche Provincial Court on Aug. 1

Ronald Gordon Park, 29, and 25-year-old Cody Blake Robertson, both from La Loche, are wanted on warrants.

Police continue their efforts to locate them. The men are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Park is 5’8”, weighs 175 lbs and has black hair and brown eyes.

Robertson is about 5’5”, weighs 140 lbs and has black hair and brown eyes.
