COVID Cancellation

2020 Provincial Championships Cancelled

Thank you to all teams who registered for our 2020 Provincial Championships.

Our Board has gone to great lengths to develop Protocols and Guidelines that have allowed our members to play some softball this year.

Unfortunately there are just some limitations as to what we can accomplish. The current Provincial Government restrictions and guidelines do not allow tournaments and as such we are formally cancelling all our Provincial Tournaments.

Given the size of some of the categories of Provincials and the number of teams that would be in one location we feel it is just not in everyone’s best interests to proceed with Provincials.

As a reminder, we ask our members to be familiar with our Guidelines & Protocols and continue to follow them.

Please note existing protocols and guidelines allow for local and League games.

Because we get a number of requests for interpretation of what defines a tournament we determined that you cannot host events or activities that involve more than 3 teams on any one day in location.

As we move further into August we continue to ask our members to put the health and safety of all players, coaches, umpires and volunteers as everyone’s first priority.
