Five new COVID cases in Sask, no new ones in our region
The provincial government is reporting five new cases of COVID-19, none of which are in our region. Also, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is clarifying the process and documents required to use the new drive-thru testing centres opening next week in Saskatchewan’s two biggest cities.
Three of the latest new cases are in the Saskatoon zone while two are located in South Central zone.
Of the total 1,643 reported cases, 40 are considered active. A total of 1,579 people have recovered.
Two people are in hospital. One person is receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon and one person is in intensive care in Saskatoon.
