Blue Jays a playoff team?

As I write this, the Toronto Blue Jays are currently in a playoff spot. With the expanded playoffs, there was thought that would definitely help them, and I agree for sure. But right now, the Jays would be in the postseason even without the expanded playoffs. Going into this season if the Jays would be around the 500 mark, that would be a success, with the intentions that 2021 would be the year to really start contending.

If they do make the playoffs, I am not sure how well they will do in a best of 3 first round series against a Cleveland or Tampa Bay, but the experience can really help as they plan to make a huge jump next year. Say what you want about this team, and believe me I have, there is never a dull moment.
