RCMP asking for public’s assistance after multiple shots fired at Meadow Lake home

Police are asking for the public’s help after multiple shots were reported to have been fired at a home in Meadow Lake overnight Thursday.

Meadow Lake RCMP are looking for information to help identify and locate the suspect(s) who may have been involved in the incident.

Police said in a release that shortly after midnight, Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of numerous shots fired at a home on the 600 block of 3 Street West.

Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating with the assistance of Meadow Lake RCMP Police Dog Services and North Battleford RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

Police say they do not believe there is any risk to the public’s safety at this time.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call Saskatchewan RCMP at 306-310-RCMP or Meadow Lake RCMP at 306-236-2570. People can also submit a tip anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
