$2.8K fine issued in Moose Jaw after ‘large gathering’

Someone in Moose Jaw is facing a stiff fine after organizing a large gathering.

Police said there was a get-together of more than 15 people at someone’s home Friday night.

The maximum number for private gatherings is currently 15, because of provincial COVID-19 restrictions.

Officers handed out a $2,800 ticket to the organizer.
