COVID-19 case found at school in Loon Lake
Saskatchewan Health Authority officials have identified a positive case of COVID-19 in an individual at Ernie Studer School in Loon Lake, Sask.
In a statement, the Northwest School Division confirmed the SHA made the identification on November 1. Since then, communication has been shared with the specific classroom/cohort and the school community and contact tracing has begun.
To protect privacy, NWSD is not sharing or discussing further details of the case. All students and families are reminded to be diligent in performing daily health screenings, stay home if ill and call HealthLine 811 if showing symptoms of COVID-19.
As of November 2, Saskatchewan has 3,292 positive cases, 2,409 recoveries and 25 deaths.
