Provincial lab tech issues reflect fewer COVID-19 cases than expected
There are 37 new cases of COVID-19 to report, bringing the provincial total to 3,408.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (one), North West (one), North Central (one), Saskatoon (13), Central East (six) and Regina (14) zones.
“The Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory experienced technical difficulties yesterday with the validation of COVID-19 tests, resulting in lower than expected case numbers reported today. It is anticipated that any delayed reporting will be reflected in tomorrow’s COVID-19 case update,” the province said.
Of the total cases, 799 are considered active. There have been 2,584 recoveries.
