Province records 194 new cases of COVID-19, 51 deaths in December
Half of the province’s deaths from COVID-19 complications have been in the first half of this month as Saskatchewan records a total of 98 deaths, 51 of which have been in December.
Seven residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. One new death in the age group 20 to 29 was reported in the North West. One new death in the age group 50 to 59 was reported in the Central West. Five new deaths in the age group 80+ were reported in Saskatoon (four) and Regina (one).
There are 194 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on December 15, 2020, bringing the provincial total to date to 12,432 cases.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (13), Far North Central (one), Far North East (11), North West (28), North Central (21), North East (two), Saskatoon (53), Central East (five), Regina (37), South West (one), South Central (five) and South East (14) zones and three new cases have pending residence information.
