Saskatchewan’s 80+ population 50 per cent vaccinated as total active cases fall
Vaccine administration continues across the province with 50 per cent of Saskatchewan residents age 80+ having received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of March 16.
This compares with 37 per cent one week ago (March 9), before the online and telephone booking systems were launched.
This news from the provincial government comes on the second consecutive day that total active cases continue to drop below late 2020 numbers.
As of March 16, 1,292 cases are considered active, the lowest number of active cases since November 9.
