219 new cases and 212 recoveries of COVID-19 reported in the province
As of April 5, there are 219 new cases of COVID-19 and 212 recoveries to report in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 34,763 cases.
One Saskatchewan resident who tested positive for COVID-19 has died. The death was reported in the 60-69 age group in the Saskatoon zone.
The new cases are located in northern Saskatchewan: the Far North West (three), North West (eight), North Central (four), and North East (four) zones. Two new cases have pending residence information.
