289 new COVID-19 cases, 11,063 vaccines given

An additional 11,063 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 345,126.

There are 289 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on April 18, bringing the provincial total to 38,160 cases.

There is one new death reported in the 50-59 age group in the North Central zone.

There are 34 active cases of COVID-19 in Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority communities.

These cases are located in the Far North West (11), Far North East (17), and North East (six); 3,382 cases (98 per cent) have recovered.
