The Wonder Years First Look Teaser

The Wonder Years is one of my favorite coming of age shows of all time. I was really bummed at first to hear about this “reboot” but now I am so excited to see this time period and perspective.

This first teaser shows us that Fred Savage is one of the production minds behind the project. So that’s a big plus! Then you see Don Cheatle is the voice of the narrator which would have been done originally by Daniel Stern. But you should check it out for yourself and see how it might compare to the original. but don’t judge too harshly though. This looks like it could be good but just call it something else. It’s actually unfair for the show to be compared to the original classic.

“The Wonder Years” is a typical coming of age story set in the late 1960s and although I’m an 80’s/90’s kid, I loved watching Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) grow up through the hippie years.  It was a different world for him but life experiences and moments were very relatable. One of my favorite episodes was the “Family Car”
