Saskatchewan Country Closeup – Valerie Francais

Valerie Francais was born in Humboldt, SK, and for the past 18 years, have called Saskatoon home.

She was taught at a very young age by her late mother how to play a few chords on the guitar. From there, she developed her own sense of play.

Valerie also loves to sing and can also play the mandolin. Her passion for music has caused her to develop the skill of song and poetry writing, with numerous pieces that she has penned.

She started in 2019 to professionally record some of her original songs, with “Silent Drums” being one of my latest recordings. She works with a very talented musician, producer/engineer, Matt Stinn, at Rainy Day Recording Co. based out of Saskatoon.
