Eight COVID-related deaths reported with 271 new cases, 85 in Northern Sask.
The province reported 271 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.
Of the new cases, 207 were among unvaccinated individuals and 71 were in children between the ages of 0-11. Eight new deaths were also reported today bringing the provincial total to 793 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died.
The new cases in Northern Saskatchewan are located in the Far North West (nine), Far North East (11), North West (30), North Central (32), and North East (three).
There has been 74,940 cases confirmed since the beginning of the pandemic; 3,434 cases considered active and 70,713 cases considered recovered.
