Coast 2 Coast Closeup – Avenue 65

After the success of their debut single “Touch My Heart”, Avenue 65 has once again teamed up with producer Anthony Fiddler to bring you an entire project in 2022 and beyond. The strength of the first single and the amazing team behind Avenue 65 saw this project which covers the creation of 6 more songs being backed by a CreativeBC grant! Thank you CreativeBC for the opportunity to create this entire project, and this very next single – “Without Crowns”.

Working with an amazing team of songwriters, producers and musicians is really the heart of this entire project for married couple Jeff and Jo Janzen of Avenue 65.

In this single Jeff steps up as a lead vocalist out of the gate and doesn’t disappoint. Jeff and Jo together are able to create a fun vibe that you can’t help to rock out to and smile about. Their own teeenagers provided a little group vocal moment on the chorus and some fun pieces throughout the track to listen for!

“This song was written by Emily Clair, Patrick James Clark and Doug Folkins, and we wanted to bring it to life as a duet. We love being able to create great music with great people, written by incredible song writers and putting our unique mark on it as Avenue 65.

“Without Crowns” is a super fun song which talks about the good old days and a look back at what once was when you’re a teenager and you just can’t wait to get out of your hometown, but you really have no idea what life is going to bring. And maybe that’s the magic of being a teenager dreamer, not worrying about what will be, just being in the moment.” -Avenue 65 (Jeff and Jo)
