Local construction shop robbed in Meadow Lake
Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating a break-in at a local construction business shop on the south side of the City.
At some point from March 30-31, the store on Highway 4 was broken into and $25,000 worth of Milwaukee tools were stolen. These include a Miller Mig Welder, a chainsaw, a leaf blower, grinders, drills and a large assortment of batteries and charging stations.
Cst. Alexandra MacLean told meadowlakeNOW that there have been a couple of incidents involving stolen Milwaukee tools over the last month, but it’s mainly been drills, batteries and leaf blowers. At this time, it’s unknown if there are any connections to other break-ins.
Anyone with information on the incident, or any other incident in the Meadow Lake region, can contact the Meadow Lake RCMP detachment, their local detachment via 310-RCMP or anonymously through Crime Stoppers. Tips submitted to Crime Stoppers that lead to an arrest or a case being cleared may qualify for eligibility to win cash rewards up to $2,000.
