Heat warnings continue across much of Sask.
It’s going to be another hot one for most of Saskatchewan.
For the second straight day, Environment Canada has heat warnings in effect. The warnings blanket most of the western half of the province, stretching from Maple Creek in the south up as far as La Loche.
A high-pressure system is moving into the western prairies, Environment Canada said, which is causing a prolonged period of hot and humid conditions. There may be a cooler break Thursday, but the weather service cautioned that the heat will be on again over the weekend.
