Meadow Lake holding special meeting regarding Skate Park Project

City Council is holding for a special meeting on Monday in Meadow Lake.
The City is holding the meeting to award the tender for the 2022 Skate Park Project. The City is committed to covering 25 per cent of the project, while having applied to the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (which could reduce the City’s coverage to 10 per cent).
Located in the vacant space between Diamond 4 and the track/football field in Lions Park, the skate park is intended to increase recreational options for residents, particularly youth. There’s already support coming from businesses, with $40,000 coming from Tolko Industries Ltd.
The meeting gets underway at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. Any questions or feedback can go to City Clerk Ferne Hebig.
