We can all do our part to help the grieving families

It was a deadly stabbing rampage and manhunt that rocked Labour Day weekend. At the James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby small community of Weldon, 11 people lost their lives and 18 were injured. To assist the victims and their families, several responses have been set up to accept donations.

Donating blood is another way to help hospitals and unexpected emergency situations. Your blood would be greatly appreciated by Canadian Blood Services. The session lasts about an hour, and snacks are provided afterward. Oh, and up to three lives could be saved as well. It is never known when it will be needed. Donate by calling 1-888-2-DONATE.
