One man arrested after shots fired at a home: Police
A 27-year-old man is facing several charges after police say shots were fired at a home in Beauval and at police officers.
It all started just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 1 when police received a report that shots were fired at a house in Beauval. When police arrived at the home, they determined that shots were fired from a vehicle toward the house and nobody was injured.
Just before 2 a.m., RCMP say they located one of the vehicles believed to be involved, but it did not stop for police. As the suspect’s vehicle fled, it collided with a police vehicle.
Around 2:15 a.m., police responding to an unrelated call were shot at while driving along Highway 165. A police dog searched a wooded area south of Beauval where officers located and arrested 27-year-old Ashton Corrigal. He faces 10 charges including two charges of assault with a weapon.
