Oct 20, 2022 | 10:03 AM
British Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced her resignation, leaving the Prime Minister’s Office after a short and tumultuous time in office.
Truss has resigned just over six weeks into her term, claiming she cannot deliver on the mandate she was elected to carry out.
On Wednesday, Truss claimed she had learned from her mistakes and was ready to make up for them.
But Truss left Thursday after she was forced to abandon many of her economic policies and lost control of Conservative Party discipline.
