RCMP seize crystal methamphetamine near Pierceland

Police have arrested two people for possession for the purpose of trafficking after a report of an assault on Nov. 29.
Police say they were responding to a report of an assault at a residence. Officers found the male suspect stuck in a ditch about 15 km west of Pierceland, where he was arrested. RCMP searched the vehicle and located approximately 900 grams of what they believed to be crystal methamphetamine and other items used for drug trafficking.
Justin Skulte, 33, of Cold Lake, Alta. faces a drug trafficking charge. Skulte appeared in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Dec. 1. He is currently in custody.
As the RCMP investigation continued, police arrested 30-year-old Tessa Urlacher with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
