One dead in multi-vehicle accident near Glaslyn

One person has been confirmed dead after a serious crash between an SUV and a semi-truck on Sunday near Glaslyn.

The accident happened at around 8am at the intersection of Highway 3 and Range Road 3173 where a 37-year-old woman from Swift Current was declared dead on scene by EMS. She was the lone occupant of the SUV while the driver of the semi was unharmed.

Turtleford/Glaslyn RCMP continues to investigate the incident in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

UPDATE: As of 6:45 p.m., traffic is no longer being re-routed and emergency vehicles have cleared the scene.

Traffic is being rerouted after a serious multi-vehicle accident that happened at the intersection of Highway 3 and Range Road 3173 near Glaslyn.

Police are advising motorists to plan alternate routes and to follow traffic restrictions as it is unknown how long traffic will be rerouted for.

Turtleford/Glaslyn RCMP are on scene along with local fire departments. STARS air ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.
