The duo consists of singer and violinist Ariane Ouellet and guitarist Carl Prévost. After almost than 20 years of performing all over Quebec with their French project and their Open Country show, they were ready for something new and to push their limits.
Inspired by their trips to Nashville and the friends they made in Music City, the duo found a new sound and created a 6-song EP called “ DARE TO FALL ” produced by Danick Dupelle (Emerson Drive, Matt Lang, Tyler Joe Miller). Mountain Daisies dared to explore a new side of them and shift towards a more international sound with these 6 original songs written by some of Nashville’s finest, including Carly Pearce, Busbee, Barry Dean, Lori McKenna and many more.
“Moonlight it Up” is the debut single from “DARE TO FALL” and it’s a perfect song to take us into the fall.
