Loon Lake woman passes away after being struck by vehicle

A 72-year-old woman has passed away after being hit by a vehicle.

At around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 27, RCMP received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 26 south of Loon Lake.

The woman was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. Her family has since been notified.

RCMP noted the driver of the vehicle did stay at the scene.
