Makwa man killed after collision with vehicle

One man has died after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 12 near Saskatoon.

According to a news release, Warman RCMP responded to the accident at around 12:30 Friday morning on Highway 12, north of Saskatoon.

Upon arrival, first responders located one victim who was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The victim has since been identified as a 31-year-old man from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. His family has been notified.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.

Police continue to investigate with the help of a collision reconstructionist.
