Two people arrested at La Ronge apartment building in drug trafficking investigation

A drug trafficking investigation in La Ronge has led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of drugs and a gun.
On Tuesday, RCMP searched an apartment building in the town where they recovered roughly 60 grams of cocaine, 31 grams of meth, a sum of cash, and a loaded handgun.
Two people, a 35-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested at different apartments in the building. They face a combined 17 charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The man was also on court-ordered release conditions from a previous manslaughter charge.
