Fire Ban called for RM of Meadow Lake

A fire ban has been announced for the RM of Meadow Lake.

According to a release, the ban, while not in effect in the City of Meadow Lake, will prohibit any open fires on private and crown lands, in wooded areas, recreation locations and all burn permits are suspended until further notice.

Fire pits are, however, allowed but only with fire pit permits and those are available at the RM office.
