A fire ban is currently in effect for the RM of Loon Lake, southwest of Meadow Lake.
The ban is in place due to dry windy conditions in the area.
That means that the burning of outdoor fires and controlled burns, fireworks, campfires and fire pits are not permitted.
The ban will remain in effect until further notice and conditions improve.
