Meadow Lake RCMP searching for missing woman

UPDATE: On Saturday night RCMP issued an updated report to say Celynne Laliberte had been located deceased. Her next of kin has been notified.

Police said based on initial investigation, her death is not considered to be suspicious in nature. No further updates will be provided.

Meadow Lake RCMP are asking the public for help in finding a missing 39-year-old woman.

Celynne Laliberte was last seen on Friday morning at around 9:20 on 7th Avenue West in Meadow Lake and was reported missing later that same day at around 4:45 p.m.

She is described as 4’11” and 250 lbs with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an off-white short-sleeve shirt, jeans, and was carrying a tote bag. She is also known to wear glasses.
