Man, woman facing charges after weapons found at residence

A 27-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman have both been arrested at a home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation.
The arrests happened on Thursday. The man was wanted for “assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.”
Inside the house, police found two firearms, two machetes and a conducted energy weapon (CEW).
Both have been charged with one count each of resisting police officer, possession of a weapon contrary to order, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
