Three people are facing charges after the Saskatchewan RCMP seized cocaine, a sawed-off shotgun and cash during a bust on Wednesday.

Police searched a home in Turtleford, arresting five people—one who tried to flee and was caught with 10.8 grams of cocaine. A vehicle search turned up $2,690, the shotgun and ammunition.

After further investigation, a 22-year-old woman from Turtleford has been charged with drug trafficking. Furthermore, a 31-year-old man from Onion Lake and a 31-year-old woman who are also from Turtleford face multiple firearms charges. Two others were released.

The accused appeared in Lloydminster provincial court on Thursday.
