Meth seized, three people arrested after traffic stop near Loon Lake
A burnt-out headlight led to a drug bust near Loon Lake on April 4, when RCMP seized 30 grams of methamphetamine and arrested three people.
Around 10:30 p.m., officers with Meadow Lake Combined Traffic Services stopped a vehicle and noted signs of driver impairment, an open alcohol container, and a bag of suspected drugs in plain view.
The substance was later confirmed to be methamphetamine.
All three occupants were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, including a 38-year-old from Loon Lake and a 48-year-old from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. Identifying details of the third suspect were not released by RCMP due to unsigned court information.
