Calgary Flames not interested in bringing Dillon Dube back to the team
CALGARY — The Calgary Flames aren’t interested in bringing forward Dillon Dube back into the fold.
Dube, a former Flame, was one of five hockey players acquitted in July of sexual assault charges stemming from an incident in London, Ont., in 2018 when they were members of Canada’s world junior team.
When asked Wednesday if the Flames were interested in re-signing Dube, Flames general manager Craig Conroy said “at this point, no.”
“I think Dylan probably just needs a fresh start,” Conroy said.
