Tapestrama Cultural Festival This Weekend

The Prince Albert Multicultural Council would like to invite the community of Prince Albert and area to attend our Tapestrama Cultural Festival.

It will be a weekend full of wonderful cultural learning and sharing through music, dances, food, artisans, arts and crafts and many more!

Join us at our FREE Tapestrama Cultural Festival on Saturday & Sunday, September 27 & 28 at Carlton Comprehensive High School Cafetorium from 12:00 noon to 7pm both days.

This year’s line-up includes:

– Mimi Batho Indonesian Culture (Indonesian)

– Montreal Lake Stompers (First Nations)

– Christie-Anne Blondeau (French)

– Creeland Dancers (Cree)

– Ashden School of Irish Dance (Irish)

– Bridge City Rovers (Finale) and many more

Cultural Food vendors: Filipino, Ukrainian, African, Colombian, First Nations & Spudnuts for dessert

Merchandise vendors such as Monite Stiches (Nigerian), Travis Wood Burning Art, Aboriginal and Métis merchandise

Children’s activities: Facepainting and Henna tattoos
